Hello and welcome to Quinta do Vale Encantado — a rural retreat dedicated to comfort, safety and respect for nature. This guide brings together all the practical information you need for your stay with us, and with your pet (if you bring one), to be simple and enjoyable. Please read it carefully before check-in.
1. Check-in, Check-out and Visitors
- Check-in: from 3:00 PM
- Check-out: until 11:00 AM
- Early check-in / late check-out: available upon request
- Visitors: only with prior authorisation; only registered guests may remain on the property
- Key safe: watch this short video to see how to open the key safe box at your door
2. Quiet Hours and Tranquillity
- Quiet hours: 10:00 PM – 9:00 AM
- Loud music, parties or disruptive behaviour are not permitted at any time
- Music through speakers is not permitted anywhere on the property, except with express written approval from management, and must never disturb other guests or neighbours — headphones are required for personal listening
- Please keep conversations and device volumes at moderate levels, especially outdoors
- Swimming in or approaching the river is strictly forbidden, for safety reasons
- Climbing fences or entering neighbouring properties is forbidden; the surrounding area is entirely private
3. Safety and Security
- Keep doors and windows closed when you go out
- Do not leave valuables unattended
- Follow all fire-prevention guidelines
- Smoking is forbidden inside the buildings and in the pool area, for the comfort and safety of all guests. It is only allowed in the designated smoking areas:

- Table in front of the games room
- By the Well, in front of the BBQ area, near the river

4. Nature and Property
- Do not disturb animals, plants or wildlife
- Use water and electricity responsibly; turn off the AC when doors/windows are open
- Dispose of rubbish in the appropriate bins
- Fire only in authorised barbecue areas
- Report any damage or malfunction immediately
5. Facilities and Common Areas
- Please leave common areas clean
- Children must always be supervised by an adult, particularly at the pool, in the games room, by the river, in the gardens, and in areas of uneven terrain
- Pets are only allowed in authorised accommodations; a deposit applies (see section 7)
- Do not move outdoor furniture without authorisation
6. Damage, Loss and Liability
- Guests are responsible for any damage caused
- Management is not liable for belongings left unattended
- Security cameras record common areas (~24h), accessible only to authorities upon request
7. Pet Policy — “Paws & Stays”
We are delighted to welcome guests travelling with their pets.

Rules during your stay
- Pets may never be left alone in the accommodation
- In common areas, pets must always be supervised and on a leash
- Any accident must be cleaned up immediately by the owner and reported to our team
- Pets are not permitted on beds, sofas or other furniture under any circumstances
- Areas off-limits to pets: shared kitchens, games room, pool area and surrounding leisure zone
Fees in case of damage or non-compliance

On departure day, our team carries out a final inspection. If any damage is found, the guest is contacted immediately with photographic evidence and a repair/cleaning estimate, before any amount is withheld from the deposit.
8. Coffee and Capsules
The kitchen coffee machine is multi-system and accepts: Nespresso (Original), Delta Q, Dolce Gusto.
Do not use other capsule formats or methods (e.g. Italian/moka stovetop pot) in this machine.
9. Breakfast (optional service)
A full breakfast tray to enjoy by the pool or in your accommodation: croissant and multigrain bread, ham and cheese, seasonal fresh fruit, Greek yoghurt and coffee (capsule), homemade jams, milk and fruit juice.
